Invoices and VAT exemption

How invoices are numbered, what they show, and the VAT exemption line.

Each payment issues an invoice automatically, in your name, sent to your client and kept in Payments → Invoices.

What an invoice shows

Invoices are numbered in order with no gaps (F-2026-0001, F-2026-0002…), carry your legal name, SIRET and address, your client’s name, what was sold and the amount. Once issued, an invoice cannot be changed, as the law requires. To correct or refund it, issue a credit note.

If you do not charge VAT

Most independent coaches are under the VAT exemption threshold (franchise en base). In Settings, Your business, tick I do not charge VAT: every invoice then carries “TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI”. If you charge VAT, enter your VAT number and rate instead. Check the current thresholds with your accountant or on impots.gouv.fr.

For your accountant

In Payments → Invoices, export the invoices and credit notes of a period in one file. Invoices are kept 10 years.
